LogoUp knows that custom embroidered apparel brands your business like nothing else can. Logo digitizing is both an art and a science, and our 'old world' master craftsmen work personally on your logo to make sure every single thread is up to our exacting standards.

As you can see here, our skill is as vast as our satisfied base of over 9,000 customers.

Even if you're 110% satisfied with the way your logo looks on paper, some subtle changes may have to take place in order for it to translate to thread properly. The graphic on the left contains several digital effects that make it look really spiffy in a 2D format, but if we just fed it into our embroidery machines you wouldn't like the result.

To make sure you are super satisfied, we'll send you a proof of how we've modified your logo before we sew your shirts.
We prefer logos to be supplied in a vector format, (.ai, .eps, .pdf) which makes our editing process much quicker. If your logo only exists in an image format like a .jpeg, not to worry, we can work on this too. The example at the left has now been stripped of its digital effects and is ready to be digitized. This modification process is why it can take 2-3 business days before you see a proof of your logo.
The digitizing process is where the magic truly happens. Our artists trace your logo point by point and create specific instructions for our embroidery machines. We adjust the sewing direction and 'pull compensation' of the thread to ensure the best transfer of your logo.

The following panel illustrates exactly how the digitizing process works.

To Summarize:

  • Once you have picked out your embroidered apparel, please email your logo to logos@logoup.com. You will see a proof within 2-3 business days and we will not start sewing your order until you have approved it.
  • If you are ordering light and dark colored items, our designers will change the thread color of your logo automatically to match. Logo colors must be the same on similar shirt colors.
  • Your logo may have to be modified by our graphic designers to work for embroidery. (95% of logos need only minor tweaks)
  • We charge absolutely zero dollars for embroidery of your logo. Logo set up / digitizing is always free if you order any 6 items. ($49.99 one-time charge otherwise)
  • No letter or detail of your logo should be less than 3/16 of an inch to translate to thread properly.
  • Your logo should not be more than 4" x 4" large. Our designers will work with you to slim it down so it really looks great on your apparel.
  • If you want block or script text added above or below your logo, that is not a problem. Please specify these instructions when you email your logo.
  • We can sew your logo on more than one area of an item. Please see our FAQ.
